Regular University Courses (in French) - ISEP Exchange
Located in the famous Loire Valley, Angers is situated among an abundance of vineyards and famous French chateaus and is only about 90 minutes by TGV from Paris.
Students can enroll in a mix of regular university courses taught in French and English. Angers offers flexible options for students to create a program schedule to fit their major and language level!
Students who attend the Université d'Angers have the option of taking a wide variety of courses including French literature through the department of arts and letters and French culture through the history and geography departments. Sciences, business and languages are strong. Also recommended are the social sciences, physiobiology, vegetable production, technology and scientific innovation, and tourism.
ISEP students have the opportunity to enroll in French Language Support Courses, earning up to 12 ECTS (the equivalent of 6 U.S. credits). This offers students an excellent opportunity to practice their French language and have the extra support to navigate university life in France!

For a list of courses in French, please use the Rechercher une Formation. Find courses using the following steps:
1. Select the academic area under "Diplôme" to expand the selections. Select "Licence LMD" to show bachelor-level academics.
2. Select "Angers" as the campus and then select your academic areas to narrow the search
2. Once the page for the academic program, select "programme" in the menu near the top to see the list of courses organized by semester.

International Masters programs are taught in English in several departments at Université d'Angers, and are open to qualified upper-level (third or fourth year) undergraduate ISEP students provided they meet the course prerequisites.

Other Academic Conditions
Students who wish to take undergraduate courses in French must have at least a B1 language level in French. Students who wish to take Masters-level courses in French must have at least a B2 language level in French.
Students planning to take all courses in English should have a working knowledge of the French language in order to successfully navigate daily life in France. ISEP recommends at least 2 semesters of French or an A2 French language level. If you have less than 2 semesters of French, please contact the Student Advisor for France.
