Course Description
At CQUniversity, fields of study are referred to as "courses," and each class is a "unit."
It is the responsibility of students to ensure that they have approval from their home institution that the courses applied for will be credited towards their degree and that you meet any prerequisites.

Academics
Other Academic Conditions
- ISEP students should select courses at the Rockhampton North (main) campus ONLY. They may not take courses at any other campus.
- Study Abroad and Exchange students may study one unit as online studies.
- Undergraduate students are welcome to apply for post-graduate units or units outside their usual field of studies, however CQU may conduct additional checks in instances where pre-requisite learning is an entry requirement to the unit.
This site operates on the Southern Hemisphere calendar. Be sure to search for courses using the correct semester parameters: Southern Hemisphere SM1 is February to June; Southern Hemisphere SM2 is July to November.
If you are planning to study for a full-year in Australia, you should consider starting your program at the beginning of CQUni’s academic year in February.
Students are responsible for staying until the end of the semester and may not leave before the final date of their semester exams. Neither ISEP nor CQUni can guarantee an early departure and special exams are not available; leaving early may result in a failing exam grade and/or forfeit of credit.
NOTE: Students taking the IELTS or TOEFL to provide proof of English proficiency for their visa must take the test IN PERSON. The Online test will NOT count for this requirement.
