Spend your free time strolling along the River Lee, popping into markets, dropping into a pub for traditional Irish music, exploring historic castles and cathedrals, or kayaking through the city center. Nearby, you can tour Blarney Castle (and the famous Blarney Stone), the historic port of Kinsale, and miles of coastline.

LIVE

Live in modern, fully equipped apartments arranged through the UCC Accommodation Office. Enjoy a private room that includes a bed and desk, along with shared living spaces and a kitchen with standard appliances. Apartments are typically shared with 2 to 6 other students.

DINE

Dine in the food capital of Ireland on local delicacies such as Boxty (Irish Potato Pancakes), Irish stew, and Shepherd’s Pie. Packed with a litany of restaurants, the city has no shortage of brunch and dinner options or cafes to frequent. There are also plenty of on-campus options to choose from including cafes, restaurants, and convenient stores. The average monthly cost of groceries for students in Cork is 200-300 USD.
