•        University College Cork is ranked in the top 2% of universities in the world, and offers excellent course options in Business, Engineering, Architecture, Science, Education, History, Music, Theatre, and Irish Studies. The Cork University Business School is AACSB-accredited.

•        The UCC team is available to support students throughout their stay in Cork, and offer a helpful orientation to Irish life, organize excursions to nearby cities, and connect ISEP students to local students through the UCC Peer Student Leader program.

•        Cork also has its own international airport, offering direct flights to many of Europe and the U.K.'s most popular destinations, and is just 2.5 hours from Dublin by train.

ISEP students studying at University College Cork will be part of a vibrant community of over 3,300 international students, and the UCC with the campus located just one mile from the city center. Cork is Ireland’s second largest city and offers lots of opportunities to get connected with locals.

A traditional college town, Cork is known for its great nightlife, restaurants, and music scene. Stroll along the River Lee, pop into the English Market for one of the best food scenes in Ireland, drop into a pub any night of the week for traditional Irish music, explore historic castles and cathedrals, or kayak through the city center. Nearby, you can tour Blarney Castle (and the famous Blarney Stone), the historic port of Kinsale, and miles of coastline. Ready to explore more of Ireland? Just 1.5 hours away by train, County Kerry offers some of Ireland’s best hiking and exploring in Killarney National Park and the Dingle Peninsula.

ISEP students live in up-to-date, furnished apartments arranged through the UCC accommodation office. Each student has a single room furnished with a bed and desk, and typically shares an apartment with 3-5 students, each of whom has a private bedroom. Students share a furnished living area and kitchen, with standard appliances. Students will be offered housing as part of their acceptance process with UCC and are placed into housing through the UCC Accommodation and Community Life Office.

Please note that meal options are not included in the ISEP Program Fee. Students should be prepared to bring their own funds for use in University cafes and local grocery stores.
