At University of Jamestown, you’re not just a number! Your professors will get to know you, your interests and your goals for the future. Most classes have fewer than 30 students; the average class size is 19 students. UJ offers strong programs in traditional liberal arts areas as well as in professional areas such as accounting, business administration, computer science and criminal justice.
Jamestown, a city of 17,000, is located in the scenic James River Valley in Central North Dakota.
HOUSING
Students may be housed in a dorm or campus apartment. Students will receive a separate housing contract.
Housing is available through all school breaks.
MEALS
A meal stipend is provided for Spring Break as the cafeteria will be closed. Students may also use their residence hall kitchen to prepare their own meals or have meals delivered by local restaurants.
*Calendar Year students are not eligible for ISEP housing or meal benefits over the summer break

Academics
Other Academic Conditions
Undergraduate nursing, teacher education, and character in leadership courses as well as all graduate level courses are not available to ISEP students.
Students are subject to additional fees for classes not taken by the average student such as music lessons.
Course schedules are typically released a year in advance. Certain course syllabi may be available to prospective students upon request; please contact your ISEP Student Advisor.
PASSPORT: All students must have a valid passport to participate in this program. If you do not have a valid passport, we suggest you start the application process as soon as possible.
VISA: All non-U.S. citizens will be required to obtain a visa. For more information on the process and estimated cost, please review the ISEP Country Handbook here.
