·        Spend four weeks studying alongside international students and make local friends at Hanyang University, South Korea's top Engineering school.

·        Students enroll in 3 classes for six to nine U.S. credits

·        Hanyang International Summer School offers extensive cultural activities. Past participants have enjoyed a Mud Festival, trips to water parks, cultural shows and demonstrations, and a trip to the Demilitarized Zone.

·        Hanyang’s “Global Lions” are students who support international students on campus. While you are at Hanyang, the Global Lions will be your Residence Assistance at the on campus dormitory, Group leaders at the activities/field trips, Mentors for your Korean Language Class, and friends throughout your time in Seoul.

Excursions & Cultural Experiences
Hanyang offers a multitude of included activities throughout the summer program. Popular past events have included a trip to the largest amusement park in Korea, Everland,  an acrobatics show, tours to film sets, and a trip to the Heyri Art Village.

Quarantine Requirement
At this time, South Korea requires all international students to quarantine for two weeks upon arrival. Currently, Hanyang estimates that a full additional two-week quarantine will be $1,400 USD. This includes housing, meals, and airport pickup. Hanyang will allow students to arrive between June 20 – June 30. All students must arrive no later than June 30. Classes will be offered online until July 16 to accommodate students in quarantine. ISEP will provide further guidance when entry requirements are finalized. We encourage students to consider getting a COVID vaccine if they are eligible.

Housing & Meals
Students live in on-campus dormitories within walking distance to Hanyang classrooms. Meals are not included. Students will have access to grocery stores, cooking facilities, and a multitude of dining options with affordable meal choices.
