Study in Germany (in German, English) - ISEP Exchange
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
The university considers its humanities programs especially appropriate for ISEP participants. Eichstätt is particularly strong in modern languages (including computer linguistics) and literature, combined with an interdisciplinary approach to the history, society, and regions in which the languages are spoken. The university library at Eichstaett has been ranked number 1 in Bavaria and number 3 nationwide (after Konstanz and Bielefeld). The WFI (Faculty of Business Administration and Economics in Ingolstadt) has already been ranked among the top German universities in a number of respected polls. Therefore the Ingolstadt School of Management is continuing to prepare tomorrow's managers and executives optimally for economy of the 21st century.
HOUSING
Students will be housed in dormitories around the city, arranged by the International Office as part of the internal application after accepting your program. Refundable housing deposits are usually very high, so students should be prepared to have funding available for that up-front cost.
MEALS
ISEP Exchange students will receive a meal stipend based on the cost of living for students in Eichstätt, which they can use to purchase groceries and cook meals in shared facilities. Students will receive their stipend in one cash payment at the beginning of the semester.
All ISEP students will be expected to budget for their meals accordingly, and can ask their ISEP Student Services Coordinator for tips, as well as check out ISEP's resources for Budgeting for Study Abroad.
SCHOLARSHIP
This program qualifies for the ISEP French and German Language Annette Kade Fund Scholarship. The scholarship awards $500 - $1,500 USD to students who are from a U.S. institution and studying French or German language in Austria, France, Germany, Reunion Island, or Switzerland. Learn more here!
