PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

The International Fall Term is designed specifically for undergraduate (Bachelor's level) students of business administration who are unable to attend the traditional fall semester in Germany, which runs from October-March. Recently, the KU has been awarded the title "Most Popular University in Germany 2022" by the student portal Studycheck.de.

The programme starts in mid -September and ends before Christmas. It begins with a 2-week “Culture and Society” course about Germany and is followed by a 3-week intensive German language course (available for all levels of German, also beginners). Students may then choose 4 from business- and finance-related courses on the course list provided on the program website. All courses, including "Culture and Society", are taught in English, with most courses being worth 5 ECTS (some courses are worth 2.5 ECTS). Students can earn up to 30 ECTS per semester.

Students receive support throughout the programme, including housing and buddy programs with local students, as well as support for all registration and application processes. The Welcome Teams also offer events and excursions throughout the semester.

HOUSING

Students will be housed in dormitories around the city, arranged by the International Office as part of the internal application after accepting your program. Refundable housing deposits are usually very high, so students should be prepared to have funding available for that up-front cost.

MEALS

ISEP Exchange students will receive a meal stipend based on the cost of living for students in Ingolstadt, which they can use to purchase groceries and cook meals in shared facilities. Students will receive their stipend in one cash payment at the beginning of the semester.

All ISEP students will be expected to budget for their meals accordingly, and can ask their ISEP Student Services Coordinator for tips, as well as check out ISEP's resources for Budgeting for Study Abroad

SCHOLARSHIP

This program qualifies for the ISEP French and German Language Annette Kade Fund Scholarship. The scholarship awards $500 - $1,500 USD to students who are from a U.S. institution and studying French or German language in Austria, France, Germany, Reunion Island, or Switzerland. Learn more here!
