Course Description

Mandarin language program (54 hours: three-hour class, 18 sessions) 

This course helps the learner speak fluent Chinese language in real situational daily dialogues. Basic, intermediate and advanced levels are available. 

Chinese cultural course: Lectures (nine hours: three-hour class, three sessions) 

There are professional and interesting lectures on three specific topics in a variety of different areas. Examples of lectures that have previously been offered include:

Chinese Taiwanese and food cultures

Travel and leisure in Taiwan

Taiwan geography

Chinese cultural course: Hands-on experience (15 hours: three-hour class, five sessions) 

Popular courses covering Chinese and Taiwanese culture and folklore continue to be one of the program's highlights. Examples of activities available for students include:

Chinese martial arts

Chinese calligraphy

Dough figure making 

Chinese painting 

Tea Making

Professional management lectures nine hours: three-hour class, three sessions)

Three splendid lectures on business management related topics by three professional and experienced lecturers with expertise in both management theory and practice. 

Enterprise visits (nine hours: three-hour class, three sessions)

Three field trips are designed to grant students unique opportunities to visit industries of environment protection, traditional Chinese medicine, and hospitality (hotel management) in central Taiwan. Students will learn first-hand know-how by going behind the scenes.
