Course Description

1. Mandarin language program (36 hours: three-hour class, 12 sessions) 

This course helps the learner speak fluent Chinese language in real situational daily dialogues. Basic, intermediate and advanced levels are available. 

2. Taiwanese cultural lectures and hands on experience (9 hours: three-hour class, 3 sessions)

There are professional and interesting lectures on three specific topics in a variety of different areas. Examples of lectures that have previously been offered include:

Taiwanese and food/tea cultures

Travel and leisure in Taiwan

Taiwan geography

Chinese martial arts

Chinese calligraphy/painting

3. Enterprise/instituions visits (9 hours: three-hour class, 3 sessions)

Three field trips are designed to grant students unique opportunities to visit industries of environment protection, traditional Chinese medicine, and hospitality in central Taiwan. Students will learn first-hand know-how by going behind the scenes.
