Course Description
The Language & Culture Program focuses on French language, humanities and the liberal arts with electives available in many fields of study. There are two different tracks available and students should select their track level to see detailed course offerings according to their level of French.
Choose from a mix of elective courses taught in French and English, offered exclusively for French language learners. Students in the Advanced Track are also required to enroll directly in at least one regular university course in French alongside local students. Students can pick from a wide variety of courses, but some of the most common areas of study students elect to enroll in are: history, literature, business administration and economics, communications, social sciences, environmental and life sciences, and music.
To meet your needs and take full advantage of Montpellier's many opportunities, the course selection process is individualized and the academic program is tailored. Most students enroll in 5 courses (30 ECTS/15 U.S. credits) per semester.
