Virtual Study and Intern in Brussels (in English)
The Vesalius College Virtual Intern and Study spring 2021 semester program offers courses open to both local and study abroad students in the fields of business, communications, law and international affairs, with a strong focus on Europe. Earn up to 30 ECTS (15 U.S. credits) over 17 weeks, or choose to enroll in individual courses or a credit-bearing internship to complement a semester of coursework at your home university.
Participate in a prestigious virtual internship in the public or private sector with organizations such as NATO, the United Nations, Ernst & Young, ING and many more. Students have the opportunity to test career options, gain practical experience, and build relationships with professionals and organizations in their areas of interest. Vesalius internship partners are prestigious and internationally renowned organizations and companies, ranging from European institutions to small start up businesses, from think tanks to international corporations.
Academics will be enriched by guest lectures, interactive seminars and virtual social events with fellow Vesalius students.
Course Description
Virtual courses will be scheduled so that students based in the North America region can attend. It will also be possible to follow the courses asynchronously, as all teaching sessions will be recorded.
As a small college with a student body of only 300 and a low student-to-professor ratio, faculty are accessible and able to take a personal interest in the success of students to help them achieve their potential. Close working relationships with peers and professors form the cornerstone of the Vesalius educational philosophy.
The internship course is evaluated with a letter grade, and the standard 150 hours internship grants 6 ECTS (3 U.S. credits).
