Home of one of the largest 13th-century gothic cathedrals in France and among some of the most famous World War I battlefields, Amiens offers a rich cultural life and interesting quartiers for students to explore. Université de Picardie Jules Verne is the ideal university for an ISEP student hoping to take French language courses with a few university courses alongside French students. French language courses are offered in addition to regular university classes each semester for all levels. Most students will spend eight hours in class per week for 12 weeks. Students usually supplement language study with university courses. French language courses are also offered to students during the first two weeks of their stay as part of the orientation program.

All ISEP students have the opportunity to teach English at local high schools and assist professors at the Center of Foreign Languages on campus. This is an excellent way for students to become integrated into the French education system! Students can even earn ECTS credits for their volunteer work.
