HOUSING AND MEALS

ISEP Exchange: 

Students will be accommodated in standard university housing, the MU Dorms. Students will receive a stipend to cover the cost of housing and meals, whcih will be deposited into student bank accounts for use to pay rent, buy groceries, or eat in university dining facilities. Students should be prepared with funding for at least two weeks until the payment is disbursed.

ISEP Direct:

Please note that housing and meals are not included in the program fee for ISEP Direct. Students will receive guidance on applying for housing in the university dormitories, and will be expected to budget for their meals accordingly. Students can ask their ISEP Student Services Officer for tips, as well as check out ISEP's resources for Budgeting for Study Abroad.

Students looking for a variety of coursework in English across multiple fields of study

 

  

Central European Studies Program

 

 

This interdisciplinary program, designed for students at the upper bachelor’s and master's degree levels,  includes studies of the social, economic, political and cultural transformations that have shaped Central Europe and the Czech Republic in particular at the end of the 20th century and the changes facing this region at the beginning of the 21st century.

 

 

Students in their 3rd or 4th year of their bachelor’s degree or first year of their master’s degree, who are interested in politics, history, and culture of Central Europe

 

 

Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) Program            

 

 

This unique program brings together Czech and English-speaking students in order to foster understanding and broaden both groups’ social, academic and professional experience. The program integrates the fundamentals of language learning theory and hands-on teaching practice. In addition to the TESOL-related courses, students take courses in applied linguistics, the Czech language and a number of courses relating to the Czech cultural heritage.

Students who successfully complete the course of study earn the internationally recognized Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults issued by University of Cambridge ESOL.

 

 

Students interested in studying language learning in the Czech context, linguistics, and specifically English for speakers of other languages, and who want to complete a certification in English Language Teaching to Adults.

 

 

**NEW** Sports, Health, and Management Program

 

 

This semester-long program offers a wide range of Sports Studies classes. Students choose from up to ten courses per semester which broaden their horizons in the area of sports practice, health in sports, sociology and psychology in sports, and sports management.

TESOL TE program requires a SKYPE interview to be conducted before the final approval for the program is made. Host university coordinator informs the applicant about the features of the interview by email.
