As an ISEP student, you can build your own program by choosing your courses from a variety of fields. Use the notes for course searching to help you find which courses are available.

There is a lot more to Salzburg than Julie Andrews and Mozart’s birthplace! Salzburg is a historical city of breathtaking beauty with a modern and lively feel. The university is comprised of four main faculties: Arts, Divinity, Law and Science, and ISEP students are welcomed by the International office with various activities, tours and opportunities for cultural immersion. Music students especially will enjoy the wealth of symphonies, orchestras, operas and festivals that Salzburg offers access to.

HOUSING

Students will apply for housing through the Austrian Exchange Service (OeAD). Rent will be paid directly out of a monthly stipend issued to students by the university. Students wishing to opt out of OeAD housing can receive the stipend and arrange housing independently.

MEALS

Students will receive a monthly meal stipend.

Course Description

Researching courses in English on an Austrian university homepage can sometimes be difficult and confusing. You can use the ISEP Guide to Course Selection to find information about navigating a university website, finding courses in both English and German and some translations of common words and major fields of study.

For courses in English, please visit the List of Courses Taught in English page. Please note - not all courses are offered each semester. Winter Semester runs from October to January, and Summer Semester runs from March to June. Some courses may be offered at the Master level but will be available to some bachelor level students. For further course descriptions, please click on the course titles within each Faculty's PDF document.

Semester Names - Please note the following term names when looking for courses at Uni Salzburg:
