The CzechMates program offers a unique opportunity to pursue your personal and professional development in a global context.

With distinct program offerings, the CzechMates program is centered on holistically developing student competencies related to critical thinking, international communication, intercultural collaboration, and practical work experience.

This program is particularly appealing to students studying in the fields of communications, information sciences and technology, arts/architecture liberal arts, education, social justice, environmental/agricultural sciences, and business.

CzechMates offers an unmatched opportunity for educational growth and professional development for those seeking to study abroad and go beyond. Through its design, it is specifically configured to provide integrated as well as context-specific learning, meaningful internship appointments, and an enhanced level of personal attention and committed educational support under the auspices of a director/former tenured American professor (Penn State University) with 20 years in-country engagement and extensive experience in international education and student mentoring abroad.

Please note that housing and meals are not included in the program fee. Students will receive guidance on applying for housing in MU university dorms, and will be able to use their own funds for groceries and meals in university dining facilities.

Students can expect to pay between $2000-3000 per semester for housing in the student dormitory and for meals (costs depends on dormitory selected, and own eating habits. $3000 would be more than enough for eating out at restaurants frequently and a double room in the most expensive dormitory). Dormitories have access to kitchens for students to cook for themselves.

All ISEP students will be expected to budget for their meals accordingly, and can ask their ISEP Student Services Coordinator for tips, as well as check out ISEP's resources for Budgeting for Study Abroad
