HOUSING

On-Campus Housing

We are excited to announce that we are now able to guarantee on-campus housing. Students will be placed in a contemporary residence hall. These are double occupancy rooms. Residents in our contemporary halls enjoy in-room bathrooms, study rooms on each floor, conference rooms, community kitchens, and lounges with TVs on each floor. Each room includes a microwave/fridge. More information can be found on the Department of Student Housing page.

A linen pack (sheets, pillowcase, pillow, blanket, towel, washcloth) is available for a limited amount of money upon arrival. The cost will be billed to the student's bursar account after arrival. Students should bring or be prepared to purchase linens on-site if they do not take the provided linen pack.

Housing will remain open during all university breaks.

Off-Campus Housing Options

There are many other off-campus housing options available to students.

If you choose any of these housing options, you must arrange accommodations on your own. Please remember that some apartments are not within walking distance of campus or on the city bus routes.

No matter where you choose to live off campus, be sure to request a written lease from your landlord, including:

- a description of the property and the total number of people allowed to live in the property
- specific occupancy dates/length of lease
- subletting allowance
- deposit requirements
- monthly rent amount and due date
- how utilities are handled
- responsibility for maintenance and repairs.

ISEP and the University of Mississippi strongly encourage ISEP students to utilize the on-campus housing option. If you have questions about housing, please reach out to your ISEP Student Services Officer and your designated host coordinator post-acceptance.

MEALS

We have an unlimited meal plan option. Students can eat at the cafeterias as many times a week as they want. We can also give the students a stipend instead of a meal plan. Though our campus dining will accommodate food and diet restrictions, we find that students who need halal food would rather cook for themselves and receive a stipend.

Meal plans work during breaks each semester, but the dining hours are limited, so students need to be aware of the hours (Spring break, Thanksgiving holiday).

*Calendar Year students are not eligible for ISEP housing and meal benefits over the summer break.
