Course Description

The University of North Alabama offers a strong array of courses from both the physical and social sciences, as well as the visual arts. Some fields of study that are recommended for exchange students include geographic information systems (GIS), psychology, sociology, accounting, and visual & performing arts. This program is ideal for sophomores, but students in their upper-level courses are more than welcome. All courses are taught in English and are available on the undergraduate level.

Credits Earned

Students who complete the program in good standing can expect to earn equivalent of 12-15 US credits. Students typically enroll in 4-5 courses per term. A term runs for about 16 weeks. To determine how these credits convert at your home institution, please contact your home university coordinator.

The mandatory fees listed under each course in the course catalog are paid by the outbound student and are not the responsibility of the incoming ISEP student. The incoming student is allowed to take 15 hours of classes. If they want to take 18 hours they would need to pay the fees associated with the extra hours.

If you use financial assistance, please speak with your home coordinator to understand your academic obligations and the requirements for using financial assistance.
