Boise State is home to over 25,000 students, who come from every U.S. state and over 60 countries. Choose from over 200 areas of study and get involved in some of the university's 250+ clubs and organizations. Boise has a strong tradition of school pride, with students cheering on the Broncos at many sporting events.

Boise is an ideal university town, with mountains in sight and a river that cuts right through campus. Skiing (Nordic and downhill), kayaking, fishing and rock climbing are close at hand. The city has a thriving local arts community, with an annual jazz festival each spring. Food lovers will rejoice at Boise's two farmers' markets downtown and a growing number of local restaurant options, from food trucks to steakhouses to international cuisine. Boise has entrepreneurial climate of high-tech startups, providing opportunities for internships to exchange students through Academic Training.

As an ISEP student, you can build your own program by choosing your courses from a variety of fields. Use the notes for course searching to help you find which courses are available. Recommended fields include Business, Education, Engineering, Geosciences, English, Biology and Global Studies. Research opportunities may be available in certain fields.

MEALS

ISEP students will have the Blue (unlimited meals) plan. This plan includes unlimited  meals in the dining hall, plus 5 guest meals  per week, and additional dining dollars during the semester.  Dining dollars can be used during breaks on campus, or if  meals or meal equivalencies are not available at that time.

There will be no meal benefits provided until the official Fall or Spring housing move in day. The dining halls do not open until then.

*Calendar year students are not eligible for ISEP housing or meal benefits over the summer break.
