Study in the U.S.A. - Southeast (in English)
SFA's breathtaking campus is located in the heart of East Texas in historic Nacogdoches. From performing arts to sporting events to nationally touring acts, there’s always plenty for the community to see on campus. Check out ways to get involved on campus and make the most of your experience.
HOUSING
ISEP students stay at Griffith Hall. Griffith Hall is a co-ed, double-occupancy residence hall on-campus. Each shared bedroom comes with a mini-fridge, two-twin beds, and wheel-chair accessible rooms. Each person gets their own bed, closet, dressers, desk, and desk-chair.
The building is co-ed with the first, second, and third floors being all male, and the fourth and fifth floors being all female. If you have questions about gender-inclusive housing, please reach out to your ISEP Student Services Officer.
Students may be moved to other residence halls during holidays/breaks.
MEALS
The Jacks 195 Block meal plan allows 195 meal swipes in either dining hall each semester. The Jacks 195 Block meal plan comes with a limited amount of Dining Dollars per semester to use at on-campus retail locations, as well as 5 meal exchanges at other on-campus dining facilities per week.
Cafeterias on campus are closed during the regular semester holiday breaks. Students will be given a daily stipend to help cover the meal costs following the state per diem.
*Calendar Year students are not eligible for ISEP housing or meal benefits over the summer break

How to search for courses:
Students can view a list of courses to research course availability by term.
Please ensure that the catalog is set to the most current academic year.
Students may use a prior semester as a guide, but offerings may vary from year to year and from semester to semester. You can also view detailed course descriptions.
Fall course schedules are typically posted in May; Spring course schedules are typically posted in October.
Academic Limitations:
SFA only accepts undergraduate students for exchange.
Registration in classes is not guaranteed if a student does not meet the prerequisites, if a course is filled to capacity or if departmental permission cannot be granted for any reason.
Students should be prepared to be flexible with course options due to the above reasons and should pick some alternate courses to be best prepared.
