Study in Sweden (in English) - ISEP Exchange
PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS
• Settle into the peaceful charm of Växjö, where winding bike paths, serene lakes, and a globally recognized commitment to sustainability shape everyday life, or laid-back, outdoorsy Kalmar, home to medieval castles, coastal trails, and stunning seaside views.
• Study at one of Linnaeus' two AACSB-accredited campuses. At the Växjö campus, take courses in computer science, political science, and economics. The Kalmar campus offers courses in fields such as tourism management, natural sciences, business administration, and marketing.
• Join a large international student community of over 2,200 students from around the world while living in a country known for its inclusive values and strong support for LGBTQ+ rights.
LIVE and DINE
Enjoy the comfort of a single room with an en-suite bathroom in a gender-neutral student dormitory. Housing is located throughout each city and is within a 10-minute bus ride or 15-minute bike ride to campus. Receive a weekly meal stipend on a prepaid debit card that can be used to purchase groceries to prepare in a shared kitchen equipped with a fridge, stove, and oven. Try local favorites like köttbullar (Swedish meatballs), smörgåsbord (a traditional Swedish buffet), and kanelbullar (Swedish cinnamon buns).
EXPERIENCE
Ease into life in Sweden by joining the university’s Buddy Program on either campus, which pairs international students with local peers, or the Culture Connection program on the Växjö campus that links students to residents in the community. Each campus has its own chapter of the Erasmus Student Network (ESN), which hosts events like movie nights and ‘Sports Saturdays’ and organizes trips to nearby attractions, including the Norwegian fjords and Swedish Lapland. Local highlights in each city include the Swedish Glass Museum (Växjö) and the Kalmar Castle.
