PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS

LIVE and DINE
Flourish in on-campus housing, with options ranging from standard residence halls to apartment- and house-style accommodations. Standard residence halls include access to a shared kitchen, while apartment- and house-style accommodations include a kitchen shared only with your roommates. All housing options are located on campus, putting classes, dining, and other facilities within a five-minute walk.
Your ISEP Exchange program includes the 19 Meal Plan, which you can use at Ullman Dining, the main dining hall on campus, and other convenient campus locations including Ullman Market, Starbucks, and The Habit Burger Grill. Stock your kitchen with snacks and essentials at Trader Joe’s, a popular American grocery store just one mile from campus. Be on the lookout for weekly farmers’ markets where you can discover local produce and regional specialties. Southern California is known for its fresh, coastal-inspired cuisine, so be sure to try favorites like fish tacos, California-style pizza, and smoothie bowls while you’re having fun in the sun!
EXPERIENCE
Get involved with one of Cal Lutheran’s many campus clubs and organizations, some of which offer off-campus excursions throughout the semester. The Center for Cultural Engagement and Inclusion hosts a variety of events throughout the semester, including cultural celebrations, community dinners, and other inclusive programming, all designed to honor diversity and foster belonging. Don’t miss the community’s favorite events, such as the Homecoming Festival, the Chili Cook-Off, and Conejo Valley Days, which are guaranteed to give you a true taste of campus life and the local culture.
ACADEMIC TRAINING

You can view the Academic Catalogue Webpage to see what courses are being offered in the upcoming academic year. Official course offerings are typically published 4-5 months before the semester begins. It is important to have backup course options ready. Not all listed courses are guaranteed to be available every semester, so it's strongly recommended to identify alternative courses in advance.
Once admitted, syllabi are always publicly available. You will need to reach out to the Department who teaches the course to request copies of their syllabi.

Credits Earned
Students who complete the program in good standing can expect to earn 12-16 U.S. credits. Students typically enroll in 3-4 classes per term. A term runs for about 4 months. To determine how these credits convert at your home institution, please contact your home university coordinator.

All exchange students will be required to submit an Undergraduate International Student Exchange Application directly with Cal Lutheran. Upon submission, you must notify the International Admissions office by emailing intladmission@callutheran.edu to confirm your application has been submitted.
Accommodations Needs
Cal Lutheran University has services available to students with reasonable accommodation requests. In general, mobility, visual, and learning accommodations can be arranged. Students should speak with their ISEP SSO in advance to request if specific accommodations can be arranged.
